Haley MacKeil is an interdisciplinary artist and educator currently working in Providence, RI. Her research explores complex living systems and elemental forces that question the nature-culture dichotomy. Through submersive video installation, sculptural objects and the printed multiple, she sheds light on ephemeral phenomena and the varied narratives they tell. With attention to process, im/materiality, and perception, her work addresses visceral and empathetic experience within ever-changing environments. These interventions evidence the porsity of material information and trace residues within liminal spaces.

She has contributed to collaborative workshops, exhibitions, and printed editions with artists, project spaces, and institutions in Berlin, Boston, and New York. She is a MFA candidate at Rhode Island School of Design and earned her BA in Visual Arts and Biology from Bowdoin College.
